A new project was born from our collaboration with former rally driver Nico Caldarola. We took part in the UIM XCAT World Championship — the most spectacular offshore class, promoted directly by the UIM World Federation.

With our project, we wanted the pilot to wear a flame-resistant suit that is truly innovative in terms of comfort. It is made of Firetek, a high-performance fabric produced with natural fibers and flame resistance.
It was developed to be used as a base layer, the layer in direct contact with the skin that absorbs the most sweat.
The role of the base layer is crucial: to keep the body dry by absorbing sweat and spreading it evenly across the fabric so it can dry more quickly.
Typically, flame-resistant fabrics are uncomfortable because they absorb sweat well but take a long time to dry, leaving the skin wet for extended periods. They do not excel in dispersing body heat and, under intense physical effort, lead to overheating — reducing focus and performance.
FIRETEK was designed specifically to solve these problems. It is a truly innovative fiber: inherently flame-resistant, with excellent sweat management, fast absorption, and quick-drying capabilities. It can dissipate large amounts of body heat, preventing heat stress and overheating during peaks of intense physical activity.
FIRETEK does not melt, does not drip, and is flame-resistant in compliance with EN11612 Class A1 B1 C1.
